Xinwen Chen is a 2019 recipient of the Immersive Media Challenge grant from the Entertainment Technology Center at the University of Southern California. She and her team developed a virtual reality concept, The Museum of Romance (TMoR) where participants have the ability to interact in various romantic story lines originating from a multitude of cultural and societal backgrounds via VR headsets and controllers. I directed, shot, and edited a cinematic portrayal of TMoR that was premiered at the fall 2019 ETC Immersive Media Challenge conference at the USC School of Cinematic Arts.
